Well, the Mach had the SS inserts in it before. They were looking in bad shape around the edges, and it took alot of tedious little work to polish them, so i ordered some black vinyl letters for it. Much better looking and the install only took 15 minutes. And what a difference on the rear view of the car. Only hang up was some of the letters, mainly the S, had to be trimmed up just a tad, they were cut to long and hung out of the indentions in the bumper. But overall, very worth the 13 bucks for them.

Looks very nice, I think it matches well with all the black the Mach cars came with already. _________________ 1991 Mustang SSP 5.0 5 speed - 99% Stock

black would match the tails you have, and the accents well.
Imo, the SS ones don't look good unless you polish them constantly. And whats more is the just 3m tape stick to the car, and sit off the car maybe 1/8 an inch.
Doesn't seem like much, but enough for wax, dirt, etc. to get stuck behind them, then you really got a job on your hands with q-tips trying to clean it out. Where as the stickers are like stickers, lol. nothin getting behind them or anything. and no polishing! |
