i have frpp 4:10s sitting under my bed begging to be installed. my dad knows how to install them but won't get on it and i don't feel like paying a shop fee bc shops are ridiculous when it comes to gears. so does anyone know how to install gears themselves?

Getting them in is easy, its having the correct tools and know how to measure the lash and pinion depth is where I fall short. I wish I knew how though.

Stephen, why don't you ask National Speed what they charge? They might cut you a good deal?

Makes sense. You will love the 4.10. But do you plan on going with forced induction? If so they might be to much for that in the future. I want to go with a single or twin turbo. In the end I will have to come down in gears.

I am on 3.55's and I thought about changing to 3.73's....but I am turning right at 2000 at 60 so the gas milage is starting to get a little stupid. I will most likey stick to the 3.55
