So today is/was my bday. I ended up w/ some american muscle gift certificates and have some cash on the side. I know this club/forum is mostly about performance and right now im mostly show and no go.

If you could buy anything or combine things under $700 what would it be?

To make this easier what do you already have? Off rd H pipe, axle back, CAI, tune, Saleen rims, and lowering springs. Is that it? Also, would you rather buy "show" parts or "go" parts? If you want some more go I'd do gears (either 3.73 or 4.10), maybe a shifter, alum driveshaft, or maybe even some headers. If you want more look good parts I'd say maybe a grill, front bumper or chin spoiler (I like the California Special bumpers), HIDs, sequential tail lights, or a hood. Man there's TONS of ways you could go with that money.

If ou go shifter MGW all the way. Looks, I would go with grille and chin spoiler CDC agressive one or rear spoiler (delete). Is your windows tinted? What trufiber hood are you looking? I will tell you in a few days if it is worth it Wink

Gift cards. Unless he gets a SCT tuner from AM and a BAMA tune he can't use it anywhere else. IMO I don't like the light covers.

I was gonna recommend VHT Nightshades paint, but the good thing about light covers is that you can remove them if you don't like them...not the same for the VHT.

The bad thing about the VHT is it doesn't shine like a true "smoked" set does. They look really dull.

Having them professionally tinted with paint is the only way to go. Those light covers look horrible IMO and any where they touch paint will eventually rub the paint off.
