Well guys this is my new project, its a budget build. I am looking to have less than $5G in it, lock stock and barrel. Purchase price of the car is around $500. Its a 1993 2.3L automatic car that was wrecked and left for dead.

Then once it was home it was completely disassembled

Then comes the good stuff, used K member from CraigsList.

Then a $7 manual steering rack from the local Pull-A-Part.

Then came the left over V8 front brakes that came from a buddy's car that decided to upgrade to SN95 5 lug spindles.

I pulled the interior out and shampoo'd the carpet and seats, cleaned all the dash and interior plastics and once I got it back together I seen a big pile of left over parts that were on the floor. Does anyone know where these go??

You have a lot more skills/patience than I do man, I have a hard time replacing pieces, not to even mention building a car where I don't know what goes where lol.... _________________

Well, its like this. I've never had the money to buy anything nice. Hell, I financed a 1986 F-350. I always have bought and built cars over buying one nice and doing a few things here and there. I am looking to make around 450rwhp for less than $5,000. Make it light and make it fast. |

Just so happens I have a fox roller that I was building that I am going to sale to build this car and I can deliver.
@SuperDan, I am gonna keep the blue one for now. I got it running how I like it, just got a few more tweeks here and there and I will be done with it and just be able to drive and enjoy it. _________________ 1991 Mustang SSP 5.0 5 speed - 99% Stock

Well keep it in mind, I am trying to sale it to drum up some funds for the parts I am lacking for this car, or I am 100% up for a trade on the car for parts. Clear title 89 coupe. _________________ 1991 Mustang SSP 5.0 5 speed - 99% Stock

Well, I am gonna play with the RS275, but that is kinda getting out of my price and speed range. The class started in the 5.8-6.0 range and has ran all the way to a 5.30 class. I just wanna run 7.0's 1/8th mile, then 100mph in the 1/8th then 6.0's. Those are my current goals. Its gonna be a 302 based engine with a 4R70W for now, street car till they kick me out, lol. _________________ 1991 Mustang SSP 5.0 5 speed - 99% Stock

Next year will be even worse, no more weight penalty for F.A.S.T. systems, so the cars will them will drop 100lbs. _________________ 1991 Mustang SSP 5.0 5 speed - 99% Stock
