well now that i have a nice chunk of free'd up cash from my deployment,
i've bought a 427 stroked boss351 block. anyone have any experience
running boost on the 351's?
right now i'm looking at a vortech ysi but i'm unsure seeing as the only thing i've ran supercharged is the HD with the stock eaton. car will probably be down from the easter 96 on until its finished from being torn completely down in virginia for paint, engine & tranny build. _________________

I have a Vortech S-trim on my 90 with a 351W. I ran 9 1/2 lbs and that thing ran like a dream _________________

Yes, I do have a 351 that is stroked and no problems here. They will hold boost just fine and what I like is no one knows what is it is except its a 351. Just tell everyone its a stockish 351. lol

I have the same shortblock with a few upgrades. I am going with a crankdriven XI-trim (the new 105) and run x275. You should have no trouble.

only thing I would recommend doing would be tearing it down and putting a stainless ring set in it with a napier 2nd ring and a standard tension oil ring with the boost.
